Base
For a major refurbishment and renovation of Danmarks Nationalbank in 2002, Base was designed as an integral part of the project.
The furniture fitted respectfully into the building, which is considered one of Arne Jacobsen's masterpieces.
The base's simple structure and modular approach make it a subtle but practical spatial component that, with its sandblasted stainless steel and teak surfaces, emphasises and complements the architecture.
