Mikkelsen has been appointed as consultant for Roskilde Municipality to develop a vision programme, functional programme and layout proposal for a future skate hall, HAL12 in the Musicon district.

The future skate hall in Musicon will preserve Musicon's wild soul by being a local meeting place, a centre for skate sport in eastern Denmark and at the same time a national and international beacon in skate culture.

Mikkelsen Arkitekter works to create the best opportunities for a flexible environment where professionals, hobbyists, children and families can have fun, work and play, where it is safe but where the right challenges are also present.

We're having a really productive process with the developer and a wider stakeholder group, and we're looking forward to seeing how this project progresses together.
