Mikkelsen Architects prequalified for new cultural center in Hornslet
Mikkelsen Arkitekter has been selected to participate in a closed project competition for the establishment of a cultural center in Hornslet town center.
Kulturhuset Hornslet will act as the town's new focal point. Hornslet is a town in development and with the prospect of even more newcomers, a cultural hub is desired. The cultural center will house a café, music and theater hall, creative workshops, children's facilities, library, citizen services, meeting and administration rooms, as well as the continuation of and connection to two cinema halls from the current cinema.
As part of the project competition, a master plan will be drawn up that includes the cultural center site and parts of Rådhusparken, which will be located opposite the new cultural center to ensure coherence and synergy.
With Mikkelsen Arkitekter A/S at the forefront as overall consultant, we are together with Studio Andrew Todd, Merz Kley Partner Gmbh, KI Rådgivende Ingeniører Aps and Schul Landskabsarkitekter Aps as sub-consultants.
