Site update for KNSF - Novo Nordisk Pharmatech
After the groundbreaking ceremony in August 2024, work on site is progressing rapidly. Foundations and concrete slabs are nearing completion and the installation of the vertical elements has recently begun - in particular, the installation of the structural load-bearing walls in cross-laminated timber (CLT) is a major step forward.
The KNSF project consists of four connected buildings: (1) the administration, which also houses the canteen and QC lab, (2) the warehouse, (3) supply and (4) production. The buildings are linked by a central corridor that promotes connectivity between functions and users, enhancing collaboration, sense of ownership and operational efficiency.
The design is harmoniously integrated into the surroundings with an interior that prioritizes user well-being and movement. Optimal daylight conditions create a pleasant working environment and emphasize the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The facade cladding of the office building has a natural, warm expression that creates a close biophilic connection to the surrounding environment. Inside, the load-bearing cross-laminated timber (CLT) structure is visible through floor-to-ceiling glass panels. The visible timber structure and transparent design create a welcoming expression that reflects the developer's focus on sustainability.
The project for Novo Nordisk Pharmatech is carried out in collaboration with Søren Jensen Ingeniørfirma and Exyte as contractor.
