The City of Copenhagen has awarded Dansehallerne Building Award 2025
We are pleased to announce that the City of Copenhagen has awarded Dansehallerne Building Award 2025.
Copenhagen has been awarding prizes to architects and builders behind particularly remarkable architecture since 1903. With the award, the municipality recognizes the forces that have added special quality to the city's physical environment and at the same time emphasizes the municipality's appreciation of good architecture as important for life in the city.
The assessment emphasizes that the architecture is based on the special character of the location and contributes to the experience of Copenhagen as a city with a quality urban environment.
Awards are given in the categories: New Build, Restoration and Transformation, and Urban Environment
Eight buildings in the City of Copenhagen have been awarded at the 2025 Building Awards. See the award-winning buildings here.
The transformation of Kedelhuset was carried out by Mikkelsen Arkitekter and VITA Ingeniører, in collaboration with the City of Copenhagen, Bygningsfonden Kedelhuset, Udviklingsselskabet Carlsberg Byen P/S, Augustinus Fonden, A.P. Møller Fonden, Aage og Johanne Luis-Hansens Fond, Lokale og Anlægsfonden and Realdania.
